Scheduling Appointments:

Please Note: Appointments cannot be scheduled via email or Instant Message.

• Students: Call 580-5790 or stop in the office to schedule an appointment with a career counselor during office hours.
• Alumni: Call 518-580-5790 to schedule an in-person or phone appointment during office hours.

Counseling / Advising Appointments
Appointments are available for Skidmore students and alumni to meet with career counselors in person or through distance advising.

• Career: Work with a counselor to develop career goals.
• Graduate School: Review graduate / professional school application processes and resources.
• Job / Internship Search: Develop a personalized search plan and identify best resources.

Drop In Hours:

• Last up to 20 minutes, first-come, first-served.
• Best for appointment follow ups, resume and cover letter reviews, or very specific "how to" questions.

Academic Year Office Hours (fall and spring semesters):

Office Hours:
Monday - Wednesday 8:30 - Noon, 1:00 - 7:00
Thursday and Friday 8:30 - Noon, 1:00 - 4:30

Evening Appointments:
Monday 5:00 - 7:00

Drop-In Hours:
Monday 2-4
Tuesday 2-4 and 5-7
Wednesday 9:30 - 11:30 and 5-7
Thursday 2-4
Friday 2-4

Winter Break and Summer Hours:

Monday- Friday 8:30 - Noon and 1:00 - 4:30
