Athletic Events

Skidmore's intercollegiate athletics competitions take place throughout the academic year and are open to the public free of charge. The College fields 19 varsity teams that play against comparable institutions in the Northeast. Skidmore is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III, the Eastern College Athletic Conference, and the New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association, and is a founding member of the Liberty League. Skidmore also hosts special events for kids and families, including the annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day, "take a kid to the game" days, and Kids Night Out.
