
Directions to Skidmore
Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, New York, is located in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. It's an easy three- to four-hour drive from New York City, Boston, or Montreal. Saratoga Springs is most conveniently reached by automobile via the New York State Thruway (I-90 and I-87) and the Adirondack Northway (I-87 north of Albany).

Boston and points east: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) west to Exit B1. Proceed on I-90 to Exit 1N and the Adirondack Northway (I-87) north. From the Northway - NY interstate 87
Scenic Route
Because this route offers a glimpse of lovely downtown Saratoga Springs, it is recommended for first-time visitors to campus.
Take Exit 14 toward Saratoga Springs. Union Avenue takes you past the thoroughbred track and many famous Victorian homes. Toward the end of Union Ave., you will pass the former site of Skidmore College before it moved to its current campus.
At the end of Union Ave. turn right and then take your first left, passing around Congress Park. Then, turn right on Broadway, Saratoga's Main street.
Skidmore is about 1 mile north of downtown Saratoga Springs on North Broadway. The main entrance is on your left, with the Eissner Admissions Building across North Broadway on your right.
Express Route
This route offers the fastest access to campus. It is recommended for deliveries or frequent visitors to campus.Take Exit 15 toward Saratoga Springs. Turn left onto Route 50 at the end of the exit ramp. At the fourth traffic light, turn right onto East Ave.
Take East Ave. to the top of the hill and turn right onto North Broadway.
The main entrance is on your left, with the Eissner Admissions Building across Broadway on your right.
