Faculty Resources
Welcome to the Faculty Resources portal for Off-Campus Study & Exchanges!
We are excited to report that 58.53% of the class of 2012 studied off campus before graduating! We are so excited that so many students are taking advantage of the broad portfolio of Approved Programs that OCSE and the faculty have developed over the past 5 years. We thank you all for your help and support throughout the year; we couldn't have done it without you!
Throughout the year students will most certainly approach you to ask for advice regarding the 136 approved programs in 47 countries. Try not to get overwhelmed – we are here to help!
These pages are designed to serve as an advising resource as you work with your students through all stages of the off-campus study process: program selection, preparation to depart, and reintegration into the academic life of the department upon return. We hope that these tools can make the advising process run more smoothly and can assist in making the student experience a successful one.
In addition to offering these Web-based tools, we are happy to meet with you individually or to join a department meeting to go over any questions about the resources, policies, process, or programs themselves. We also would welcome the opportunity to visit your classes to talk to your students about off-campus study opportunities. And, finally, we would welcome any feedback or suggestions regarding how we can further facilitate your work with students. Just let us know!
Finally, these pages are not only designed for student advising. We also have included information on a variety of opportunities for faculty to lead or evaluate programs. And, we encourage you to share your international experiences with us so we can highlight them on the ‘Global Skidmore’ portal.
Let me close by thanking you again for your tremendous support of our efforts. We appreciate all of the hard work that you do to help our students access our off-campus study opportunities. Please do let us know if there is any way we can assist you in the process.
We look forward to another successful year partnering with you to provide our students the best educational opportunities available!
