CANCELLATIONS/REFUND POLICY
All cancellations must be made by May 11. After this date, Skidmore will not refund any alumni or guest registration fees. After May 18, no refund will be given for any fees or charges associated with Reunion Weekend. By this date we have given firm commitments and guarantees to off-campus vendors and other partners in your name that generate nonrefundable expenses to Skidmore College.

We’re looking forward to seeing you back on campus for Skidmore’s Alumni Reunion 2012! For your information, the registration desk (Case Center, second floor) will be open Thursday through Sunday. The nearest parking lot is located at the rear of Case Center. Please register and receive your room assignment before unloading luggage. If registration is closed, you can report to the Campus Safety Office, located in the basement of Jonsson Tower. Everyone attending all or any part of Reunion must register and pay a registration fee for his or her class.

Housing

On campus:  Housing preferences will be given to the 25th- and 50th-Reunion classes. Spouses, friends, and family are also welcome to stay in residence halls. Rooming arrangements are a combination of singles and doubles sharing one bath and air conditioned apartments including full kitchens and separate bedrooms.  Rooms include linens, blankets and towels. Special housing-related requests should be noted on your Reunion Registration Form.  The deadline for reserving a room on campus is May 11, 2012. If you plan to stay in the residence halls, the following list of items may make your stay at Skidmore more comfortable. Click here for Comfort List

Transportation

By car: From the Adirondack Northway (Interstate 87), take exit 14 and proceed west on Union Avenue toward downtown Saratoga Springs (you will pass the old Skidmore campus). At Union Avenue and Circular Street turn right, then take your first left onto Spring Street. At the traffic light at the top of the hill, turn right onto Broadway. Proceed straight through six traffic lights onto North Broadway, and continue about one mile to the Skidmore campus. The main campus entrance is on the left.

By Megabus: There is now a Megabus stop located in Saratoga Springs. The stop is located at the Nelson Avenue Entrance to the Casino at Saratoga Raceway at the CDTA bus stop. Parking is available on site. From Saratoga, right off Nelson Avenue into the parking lot for the racetrack and at the far end of the parking lot the bus stop is located on the right hand side at the covered entrance to the casino.

By train: Amtrak passengers arriving at the Albany-Rensselaer station can take a taxi to the Albany International Airport to connect with a Skidmore shuttle bus. Those arriving at the Saratoga Springs train station should make their own transportation arrangements to campus.

By air: The nearest airport is the Albany International Airport (www.albanyairport.com). Be sure to check out reunion air travel discounts offered by Marathon Travel. (just click on icon)

Transportation to and from campus for air or train travelers: Please feel free to contact Saratoga Taxi at 518-584-2700 ext #3 (Rich) or ext. #5 (Larry) to arrange for transportation to and from Albany International Airport (www.albanyairport.com) or Amtrak stations at Albany Rensselaer or Saratoga Springs. In addition to discounted rates, Saratoga Taxi will try to group arriving or departing guests to minimize your costs. They do ask for you to furnish them with your estimated arrival date and time, flight number or train number, and cell phone number for locating you. Also, let them know if you wish to be grouped with others who might be arriving around the same time as you. Lastly, for those travelers who will be stopping en route for connecting flights/trains, please call Saratoga Taxi from your connection to confirm your final arrival time.
